Your 9 Point Plan to a Peaceful, Joyful You

1. Environment: Shape your physical, digital, and mental environment to feel clean and decluttered. Cultivate a sense of safety and productivity when existing in these environments. Your surroundings should help you connect to your inner peace and joy. >>> Ask yourself: does the space around me help me feel my best or does it bog me down mentally and physically?

2. Nutrition: Eat in a way that makes you feel nourished, energized, and light throughout the day. Explore which foods your specific body needs to feel good, and reevaluate over time. Cultivate space in your life to cook or otherwise source your meals and eat mindfully. >>> Ask yourself: when I eat do I feel fueled or do I feel weak, heavy, or full of cravings?

3. Sleep: Give your body the amount of sleep it needs by falling asleep when you need to, enjoying restful sleep, and waking up when you need to. Give sleep the importance it requires amongst your priorities. >>> Ask yourself: do I treat sleep as essential or negotiable? Am I giving my body regular time to recover?

4. Community: Build meaningful connections with people who support, understand, and love you. Tap into their positive energy and wisdom, and give freely. Thrive within a community of family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, collaborators, fellow hobby enthusiasts, and more. >>> Ask yourself: Do I feel seen, safe, and supported by others? Am I contributing to this feeling for others? Or do I feel isolated and unsupported?

5. Yoga: Stretch and strengthen your body daily through movement that improves your circulation, lubricates your joints, stimulates your internal organs, and relaxes your mind while building focus and concentration. >>> Ask yourself: does my body feel limber and strong or am I stiff or weak?

6. Breathwork: Maximize each breath to give your body the fresh oxygen it needs to thrive and expel the waste that's bogging it down. Use breath work to calm your nervous system, build resilience, and bring clarity and focus to moments of chaos. Strengthen your mind-body relationship through conscious breathing. >>> Ask yourself: do I know how to breathe in a way that restores my energy and regulates my emotions or does my breath merely mirror my internal state?

7. Tapping / emotional release: Harness the power of the incredible mind-body connection to release everything holding you back, from limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns to cravings, phobias, and relationship issues to even physical pain. Rewire your nervous system to not only stay calm under duress but also to cultivate more inner peace and joy. >>> Am I actively working through my body to reshape my mind or am I attempting to think my way out of my feelings?

8. Meditation: Create space in your life to regularly sit in stillness and silence to simply be. Reduce the stimulation of the outside world and meditate to process what's happening in your inner world in the present moment without your mind giving in to distraction. >>> Ask yourself: Can I allow quiet and stillness into my life on command, or am I at the mercy of my thoughts and external environment?

9. Spirituality: Cultivate a belief framework that uplifts you to be the best version of yourself. Use that framework to help you push beyond the earthly and the material to see the infiniteness of each moment, the abundance of the universe, and the inner peace and joy that already exists within you. >>> Ask yourself: Do I have a spiritual anchor that grounds me and expands my perspective or am I whipped around by the pull of the material world?
